Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They apply to all professional services provided by Lori Kris Malek through Healing Inner Steps LLC. You will be asked to sign this document prior to your first session as part of your intake and onboarding process. By signing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined below. If you are unable or unwilling to agree, please do not proceed with booking.
A complimentary 30-minute discovery call is available prior to booking. No therapy or coaching services will be provided during this call. The purpose of the discovery call is to allow us to connect, discuss your goals, determine whether my services are a good fit for your needs, and answer any questions you may have. Estimates of the number of sessions that may be beneficial are based solely on the information shared at that time and are subject to change.
All sessions are conducted virtually via Zoom. Payment is processed securely through Stripe (credit/debit card). Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. Session fees are as follows: • Free Discovery Call — Complimentary, no payment required • Single RTT® Session — Fee disclosed at time of booking • 3-Session RTT® Package — Fee disclosed at time of booking • The Private Experience — Fee disclosed at time of booking • Transformational Recording — Included with RTT® sessions or available for separate purchase All fees will be clearly communicated to you before booking. Fees are subject to periodic review. You will always be informed of current fees prior to confirming your appointment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide as much notice as possible. Notification must be made via email at lori@healinginnersteps.com at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session start time. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session will forfeit the session fee. No refund will be issued. Packages: Where a discounted session package has been purchased, if you choose to discontinue before attending all sessions, a pro rata refund will be issued after deducting the full standard single-session fee for any sessions already attended. No-Shows: If you do not attend your scheduled session without prior notice, the session fee will be forfeited. Session fees represent my time and professional expertise and are not a guarantee of any specific outcome. Refunds will not be issued for sessions that have been attended and paid for.
All contact between sessions is by email at lori@healinginnersteps.com or via the contact form at healinginnersteps.com. I am available Monday through Friday during business hours. Messages received outside of these hours will be responded to on the next business day. I am unable to provide crisis support between sessions. If you are in crisis, please contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911.
I may ask questions about your health history to identify any contraindications to treatment and to ensure that my services are appropriate for your situation. Please keep me informed of any changes to your health during the course of our work together. If you are currently receiving care from a medical, psychiatric, or mental health professional, you may be asked to obtain their approval before sessions commence. Please note: I am unable to offer RTT® hypnotherapy services to individuals who have been diagnosed with epilepsy, psychosis, schizophrenia, or certain personality disorders such as bipolar disorder, as these conditions may be contraindicated for hypnotherapy.
All virtual sessions are available to clients aged 18 and over. Clients under 18 years of age may attend sessions only with a parent or legal guardian present throughout the entire session.
RTT® sessions are typically 90 to 150 minutes in length. Please ensure you have allocated sufficient, uninterrupted time for your session. The exact duration will be discussed at your discovery call. Please do not schedule other commitments immediately following your session, as you may feel tired and need some quiet time to process the work. Processing times can vary from person to person.
Prior to your first session, you will be required to complete an intake form. It is essential that all questions are answered honestly and completely. Accurate information allows me to provide the most appropriate and effective support. Providing false or incomplete information may affect the suitability of services offered. You agree to notify me of any changes to your health or circumstances during the course of our work together.
Zoom sessions may be recorded solely for the purpose of creating your personalized RTT® audio recording, where applicable. By booking a session, you consent to this recording for that purpose only. Recordings will not be shared with any third party and will be stored securely. If you do not wish your session to be recorded, please notify me prior to the session.
Please ensure you are available and ready at your session start time via Zoom. You are responsible for having a working internet connection, a device with camera and microphone, and a private, quiet space for your session. If you are running late, please notify me as soon as possible by email. I will do my best to accommodate the full session time; however, this cannot be guaranteed if it impacts subsequent appointments. Please ensure you are in a comfortable, safe location for your RTT® session. You should not participate in a hypnotherapy session while driving, operating machinery, or in any environment where your full relaxation is not possible. All session times are scheduled in Pacific Time (PT). It is your responsibility to confirm and convert your local time accordingly.
In the event of a technical failure (such as Zoom disconnecting or a lost internet connection) during a session, I will attempt to re-establish contact via the method we used to communicate. If the session cannot be resumed within a reasonable time, we will arrange to reschedule the remaining session time at no additional charge. Technical difficulties caused by factors outside of either party's control will be handled with flexibility and goodwill. However, if you are responsible for persistent technical issues that prevent sessions from taking place, session fees may still apply.
Following your RTT® session, you will receive a personalized audio recording. This recording is for your personal use only and must not be shared, copied, lent, or sold under any circumstances. Important: Do not listen to your hypnotherapy recording while driving, operating machinery, or performing any activity that requires your full attention and concentration. Healing Inner Steps LLC retains full copyright over all audio recordings produced during or following your session(s).
My agreement to work with you on the issues you present does not imply or guarantee resolution of those issues. No specific outcome can be guaranteed. Individual results will vary depending on many personal factors, including your willingness and commitment to the process. I will always apply my best professional skills and efforts in service of your goals.
The services provided by Healing Inner Steps LLC are wellness and coaching services and are not covered by health insurance. All fees are the sole responsibility of the client. I do not bill insurance companies and do not provide documentation for insurance reimbursement purposes.
If you choose to provide a testimonial or review, your consent to share it publicly (on the website, social media, or other marketing materials) will always be sought explicitly before use. Testimonials are entirely voluntary. Your name will only be used with your permission, and you may request anonymity at any time. Providing or withholding a testimonial will have no effect on the quality of services you receive.
I am committed to treating every client with respect, care, and professionalism at all times. In return, I ask that you engage with sessions in good faith and treat me and this process with mutual respect. You agree not to attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed recreational drugs. If you present to a session in such a state, or display abusive or threatening behavior, I reserve the right to end the session immediately and decline future sessions without issuing a refund.
All sessions, communications, and session notes are held in strict confidence. I may only disclose information without your consent in the following circumstances: • Where you have given explicit permission for confidentiality to be broken. • Where I am compelled by a court of law or valid subpoena. • Where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, including a vulnerable adult or minor. • In cases involving fraud or criminal activity. I may discuss aspects of your case with professional colleagues for supervision purposes. In all such discussions, your full name and identity are kept completely confidential. Only your first name is used.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lori Kris Malek and Healing Inner Steps LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the services provided, including but not limited to decisions made by you based on information or suggestions arising from sessions. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Lori Kris Malek and Healing Inner Steps LLC harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your participation in services. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tulare County, California.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to revision without prior notice. The most current version will always be available at healinginnersteps.com. If you return to therapy after a period of absence, please review any updates before your session.
Your personal data is collected, processed, used, and stored in accordance with the Healing Inner Steps LLC Privacy Statement, available at healinginnersteps.com. By booking an appointment, you signify your acceptance of the Privacy Statement. Please review it before booking.
If you have a concern or complaint regarding your sessions or my services, please contact me directly at lori@healinginnersteps.com. I take all feedback seriously and will do my best to resolve any concerns promptly and respectfully.
By signing below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, and that you agree with each of the following statements: • I have been informed of the scope of services provided by Lori Kris Malek through Healing Inner Steps LLC and give my full consent to receiving those services. • I understand that results may vary and that no specific outcome is guaranteed. • I understand that RTT® hypnotherapy and peer fertility coaching are wellness and coaching services, not a replacement for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. If I have any health concerns, I will consult a qualified healthcare professional. • If advised to seek medical approval before or after any session, I will do so and provide written confirmation prior to the next session. • I understand that I am free to discontinue sessions at any time. • I understand that my motivation and active participation are important to my progress, and I agree to engage fully, including listening to any audio recordings and completing any between-session tasks as appropriate. • I have answered all intake questions honestly and completely and will continue to do so.
By signing this form, I consent that Lori Kris Malek may release information to a specific individual or agency if it has been determined that a vulnerable person (child or adult) is at risk; if I am in imminent danger to myself or others; or if a subpoena of records has been requested. I understand that aspects of my case may be discussed with professional colleagues in supervision, with my full identity kept completely confidential at all times.
